Kathryn Anne Flanigan

Kathryn Anne Flanigan

Corporate Principal
Irvine, California

Kathryn began her legal career over 30 years ago as an independent Probate/Trust Paralegal, learning the business of law and gaining personal experience directly from private attorneys, judges, and Superior Court officials, in addition to obtaining the formal college and law school educational degrees. A licensed California attorney since 1999, she currently limits her practice to all aspects of Estate and Probate law. Her primary focus is to represent Trustees and Executors through the complex post-death administration of living trusts and court probate proceedings; to resolved contested matters between Trustees/Executors and Beneficiaries or Creditors; and to advocate for a limited number of Conservatorship and Elder Law matters, which are determined on a case by case basis.

As the proprietor of Flanigan Law Group, Kathryn speaks regularly to private groups of all sizes regarding every topic of law associated with the firm. She commonly provides seminars on such subjects as:

  • Protecting a separate property inheritance from greedy spouses
  • Pre death inheritance theft by care givers
  • Pre and post death inheritance theft by family members
  • Post death inheritance theft by Trustees
  • What is a Living Trust and how to determine which estate plan is best for you
  • Estate Planning for new parents
  • Incapacity planning for elderly adults
  • Guardianships for developmentally disabled children
